Assessments of compliance with fiscal rules

The Fiscal Council is obliged to publish an assessment of compliance of budgetary documents with fiscal rules before they are discussed in the Parliament. The Government must reply to Fiscal Council assessments by explaining how it plans to comply or why it does not intend to comply with Fiscal Council assessments.
